MyLoc Dinh
Your Experienced El Camino College Board Member
As a mother concerned about educational opportunities for our children, and as a parent involved in my local PTA, it was my true honor to be appointed to the El Camino College Board.
My law degree and experience working in government have enabled me to make meaningful contributions on the El Camino College Board:
-
Overseen a budget of over $180 million
-
Built strong reserves
-
Grown student enrollment
-
Achieved top 10 ranking for transfers to higher learning (UC, CSU, USC, LMU)

This year, I was proud to play a role in celebrating new accomplishments for El Camino:
-
Offering two-year actuarial science degrees (first in the country for community colleges)
-
A first-of-its-kind dual enrollment program, where students earn both a high school diploma and an associate degree from El Camino.
In a short amount of time, I have been able to make a real difference on the El Camino College Board. I’m asking for your vote to continue my work of delivering on our mission: responsible fiscal stewardship, student achievement, career development, and lifelong learning for our whole community.

Paving the Way to Higher Learning
El Camino College helps high school students smoothly transition to higher education through a mix of free college-credit programs, financial tuition coverage, and dedicated first-year support networks. By partnering directly with local high schools, the college removes financial barriers and accelerates the timeline for earning a degree or transferring to a four-year university.
Promoting Lifelong Learning
El Camino College supports older adults and seniors in pursuing lifelong learning through dedicated enrichment programs, tuition-free skills courses, and localized community wellness events.
